April Royan, M.A. CCC-A, originally from Chicago, Illinois, is an Audiologist and the Medical Director and Owner of Decibels Audiology and Hearing Aid Center in Naples, FL. Ms. Royan received a Bachelor of Arts in Audiology from Illinois State University and a Master of Science in Audiology from the University of Illinois. She is a former Regional Audiology Training Manager for a major hearing aid manufacturer and was awarded the Outstanding Customer Service and Patient Satisfaction Award in 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012 from AMG, a national Audiology organization. Dr Ann RasmussenDr. Ann Rasmussen, Au.D. CCC-A, originally from San Francisco, CA, is a Doctor of Audiology in Naples, FL. Dr. Rasmussen earned a Bachelor of Arts from Regis University and Doctorate in Audiology from the University of South Florida. She was awarded the position of Research Fellow at University of South Florida in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders, where she conducted speech-in-noise testing and analyses. Dr. Rasmussen has been nationally recognized for her work on speech understanding in noise, which was published by the Acoustical Society of America. She was honored with the Hillsborough County, Florida Outstanding Service Award. She has been recognized by the Sunshine State Seminar on Hearing for clinical implementation of the American Academy of Audiology guideline for audiologic management of the adult patient. She is a former Director of Audiology at offices of Ear, Nose & Throat physicians. As a top hearing doctor in the field of audiology, Dr. Rasmussen was the first approved licensed provider in Naples for an international Tinnitus Treatment device.  Dr. Rasmussen is a specialized provider of tinnitus treatment, aural rehabilitation, ear wax management, and hearing aid fitting and verification. Most recently, Decibels Audiology has earned recognition in Naples Daily News for excellence as a Hearing Aid and Tinnitus Treatment Center. Dr. Rasmussen is also able to hone her audiologic talents while taking care of her sister and daughter who both live with hearing loss.

Adriana VillalobosAdriana Villalobos, M.A. CCC-A, began working as an Audiologist at Decibels Audiology and Hearing Aid Center in the Fall of 2013, though she began working as an Audiologist in Naples in 1999. Adriana is a 1991 graduate of the University of Texas and winner of the Sertoma Outstanding Graduate Student Award. Throughout her more than twenty years of experience as an Audiologist, Adriana has worked in an array of environments, including completing her clinical fellowship at Houston Ear, Nose and Throat Clinic in Houston, Texas. Adriana's specialties include Fitting and Dispensing Services, as well as Assistive Listening Device Technology. These specialties allow her to create individualized solutions for her patients in order to meet their unique hearing needs. Adriana thoroughly enjoys being an integeral part of the Decibels Audiology family, where she has the opportunity to continue pursuing her passion of helping support her patients' hearing health. Aside from her work as an Audiologist, Adriana and her husband are involved in community arts in the Southwest Florida region. They also have two children, and their adventurous family loves to travel together at any opportunity!

Andy Schaps, President of Daily Operations at Decibels Audiology and Hearing Aid Center, grew up in Southwest Florida and graduated from Barron Collier High School. Before joining Decibels Audiology, Andy served as a front desk manager at an area hotel for eleven years. He gained valuable experience hiring, training, and overseeing staff members as well as providing outstanding customer service to hotel guests. In his current role, Andy draws upon his more than fifteen years of business management experience to create a highly organized, comfortable, and friendly environment. Most importantly, though, Andy provides the highest level of service to Decibels Audiology and Hearing Aid Center's patients. Andy has also been awarded Decibels Audiology Employee of the Month every month since he created the award in February of 2012. In his free time, Andy values spending time with his wife and two children, and he enjoys the warm weather and outdoor activities that life in Southwest Florida offers.

Anna Snyder, Vice President of Daily Operations at Decibels Audiology and Hearing Aid Center, grew up in suburban Chicago. In 2005, she graduated from Wheaton College with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Secondary Education. Since that time, she has worked in a variety of settings, including education, banking, and finance, pursuing marketing and web-based content management. Anna began working for Decibels Audiology in the Fall of 2013. She has a passion for people as well as office organization. Her warm smile brightens up the front office as she welcomes patients throughout the day. Anna aspires to win the Decibels Employee of the Month Award, thereby breaking Andy's streak, but has yet to have this great honor bestowed upon her -- maybe next month?! In her free time, Anna enjoys jogging very slowly, playing the piano, cooking delicious feasts, visiting Florida's state park system with her husband, and writing short pieces of witty prose.
