Did you know that many health insurance plans are beginning to offer coverage for hearing devices? Considering the large percentage of Americans who experience hearing loss, our response is: “FINALLY!” Offering partial or full coverage — or reimbursements — for hearing devices seems like a no-brainer. Considering what we know about the brain and its connection to hearing and understanding speech, hearing devices can help preserve pathways to the brain and prevent more serious, costly health issues.

Not too many average people can figure out the system, let alone their own personal insurance plan. Surprises pop up all the time! A co-pay of which you weren’t aware. A bill much higher than you thought. A one in-network doctor who is now out-of-network. Similar in nature to your seventh grade year at school, the drama never ends.
